		<description>Unfortunately, I don't think any of us will be promising that in the near future.  At the moment, my Octane is out of action, possibly with a fried frontplane, I haven't the time to fix it now.

Everything presently known about the Impact, is reverse engineered.  The one piece of hardware that remains to be reversed engineered, is the geometry engine that does OpenGL and accelerated 2D.  If you happen to know how it works, do tell! ;-) SGI won't tell us, and I certainly don't have the knowledge required to reverse engineer the rest.</description>

		<description>Hey man, good job getting Linux on SGI machines. I'd be one of the first to jump on the bandwagon as soon as you can promise me 2D acceleration for SI, because IRIX is sorely lacking on the updated software front.
